The Yorkshire HR Company is owned by Sarah-Jane O'Brien - a senior HR practitioner with comprehensive strategic, developmental and operational experience in the private and not-for-profit sectors, to include retail / fmcg; manufacturing, wholesaling & distribution; hospitality, telecommunications, finance and oil industry, having worked in the UK, Continental Europe, the Nordics, United States and West Africa.
She has the ability to think strategically and transform strategy into delivery, with the successful implementation of a range of HR initiatives in support of business plans and objectives, to include culture change; organic growth and re-organization; expansion and downsizing; new business ventures and start-ups; mergers, acquisitions and disposals.
Sarah-Jane has extensive experience of all areas of Human Resources Management, to include industrial relations (national level negotiations (USDAW, NUPENG & PENGASEN).
