He started in engineering, and after obtaining an MBA, spent formative years with Hilton International, then in ABB, the engineering multinational. With ABB, the complexity of the reality of efficient and effective operations became all too clear. John become exposed to national and international management and change projects, in a rapidly changing business environment.
